More Walls

The house is starting to take it's shape! Most of the main floor inside walls are finished and they are now going to start on the 2nd floor. It is pretty cool walking around inside and feeling what it will be like to be in our house. We made the final selections on the interior colors and design today. Annual Trip to the Cottage with the Elarton Family

We had to coax her in by playing fetch, but Daisy finally went in to the water on her own! She was so funny. She started by just getting her feet wet, then went in a little deeper each time. This was about as deep as she would go though, not a full swim yet. Maybe next year . . .

Jerky

Ryan's first attempt at making beef Jerky. He made his own marinade from scratch, sliced and seasoned. He wasn't too happy with the way it turned, but not bad for a first try. Something tells me that would not have bothered Daisy though :)
